Abstract Submission

The program of the Advanced Materials Safety 2025 consists of invited and contributed talks as well as posters. We encourage all participants to submit a one-page abstract related to the topics listed below. Your contribution can address scientific, industrial or regulatory developments in these fields. We particularly encourage young scientists to contribute to the conference.

Conference Topics:

  • Advanced materials for safe (bio-)electronic applications
  • Impact of advanced materials on human health and in the environment
  • Predicting effects of advanced materials by computational modelling
  • Sustainable approaches to advanced materials
  • Sustainability by assembly and disassembly of advanced materials
  • Sustainability through machine learning and artificial intelligence

Abstract and author guidelines

Please use the Abstract Template (docx, 415 KB) to create your conference contribution.

  • The conference language will be English.
  • We can only accept abstracts on own original work.
  • We accept .docx, and .odt files. If your abstract includes symbols and equations, it is helpful to send it as a PDF file as well to avoid doubts due to compatibility issues.
  • Please specify if you wish to present your work as an oral or poster presentation. We reserve us the right to suggest changes.
  • Your abstract will be reviewed by members of the scientific committee of the conference's topic area.
  • Authors will be notified until Mid of September 2025 whether their contributions have been accepted as poster or talk.

Please send your abstract by email to Nicole Vilbrandt.

Abstract submission deadlines: August 21, 2025

All presenters must register for the meeting to attend. Please note that abstract submission and conference registration are two independent steps.

Presenters' guideline

Oral presentation

  • Advanced Materials Safety 2025 is a live event. Presentations will be given on site, live and in person.
  • A projector and a notebook will be available in the conference room.
  • Due to technical reasons no personal equipment like your own notebook can be used to give your presentation.
  • Please bring your presentation on a USB flash drive. Staff will be present in the conference room to help you upload and check your presentation.
  • Presentation should be in PDF or .pptx and in 16:9 format.
  • If you keep your presentation in .pptx format, please use standard fonts in your presentation or embed the individual fonts. This is to avoid unintentional text displacement in your presentation on the presentation computer.

Poster presentation

  • Poster format is DIN A0, portrait.
  • Please print your poster and bring it with you to the conference as we do not provide printing services on site.
  • Material for mounting your poster will be provided at the conference.
  • Please mount your poster at the beginning of the poster session and remove it at the end of the poster session.
