Research Programme
The research programme of the Leibniz Research Alliance Advanced Materials Safety falls into four categories. A total of five case studies are conducted for categories A, B and C as PhD projects. Category D expands the PhD framework programme, supported by all project partners, and aims at advancing the use and usability of research data in concurrent projects.
A Design concepts for safer advanced materials
Case study A1: Cluster tox
Case study A2: Polymer fibre tox
B Impact of advanced materials on human health and the environment
Case study B1: Dissolution control
Case study B2: Environmental impact of advanced materials on marine fauna and flora
C Knowledge transfer
Case study C1: Safe materials communication
D Cross-cutting topics
D1: Outreach activities
D2: Digital, FAIR and high-quality research data
